LiteManager Free is a free program for remote control and administration of computers, specially designed for both small networks and large organizations with a large number of computers and complex network topology. Local and global networks have a complex structure and in practice are divided into separate segments with their own addressing. To gain remote access to computers located in a separate cluster of a complex network, LiteManager provides the “Connect via server” function (cascade connection), i.e. you can use the installed LiteManager-Server as a gateway through which you will access computers on another network.
When there is a need to connect to a computer without a permanent external IP address, or it is closed by NAT (i.e. there is no possibility of direct connection from the outside), LiteManager provides the possibility of a reverse connection (the “Reverse Connection” function), while LiteManager-Server can initiate connection with LiteManager-Viewer. To do this, it is necessary that LiteManager-Viewer has an external (white) IP address. Thanks to these features, you will be able to manage computers that were simply inaccessible before.
The map is designed to arrange connections as you wish, which is especially convenient for large and structured networks. For more convenient work, in the additional window you can create connecting lines between objects, tint them with colors, and add additional objects. All connections remain fully interactive, i.e. It is possible to start the operating mode of interest by clicking on the connection.
To quickly deploy LiteManager on a network, the program includes a remote installation module; three types of installation are available. Remote installation using Windows security. To install the product, you need to know the login and password of the administrator of the remote PC. Remote installation using Active Directory Group Policy. The remote computer must be in a domain. Remote self-update of the program. LiteManager must already be installed on the remote computer. The program also has a built-in utility for configuring the MSI distribution of the program's server module. You can specify the required server settings in advance; they will be applied automatically during installation.
NoIPServer is a separate application that allows you to connect LMViewer and LMServer to each other without an IP address, through NAT and other network barriers, communication is carried out by ID. It is enough to install NoIPServer on an accessible computer on the Internet, and you will be able to connect to your servers through it.
